Western States Horse Expo 2009

One of the nicest horse expos in the country, Western States Horse Expo is held on the beautiful California State Fairgrounds in Sacramento. I worked the show for CSI Saddlepads with owner Donna Helms. I shot the photos you see here when I wasn't too busy in the booth (well, I went to Ken McNabb's clinic even when we were busy in the booth). Speaking of Ken's clinic, it was great. I really enjoyed his humor (check out the black mustang "Elvis" -- what a character this horse is!) I'm really looking forward to heading back to the Powerhorn Ranch and Wyoming this next week. There will be lots of photos in the future of my blog!
